The P&O Medical Society was formed in April 1997 in response to requests from many medical staff, both past and present, for a reunion society.

The P&O Medical Society (POMS) is overseen by a small committee which undertakes the organisation of functions.

Membership is open to doctors, nurses and associates who have been, or are currently, employed by P&O/Princess Cruises.
